The new Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship, organised by Bolton-Le-Moors Car Club, sponsored by Motorsport News and in association with Motorsport Vision Racing, has announced a new partnership – Coronado Controls.
Coronado Controls, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of thermostats and heating controls, is seen as the perfect partner for the new circuit rally championship as the company’s manager director, Graham Darcy, is also the president of Bolton-Le-Moors Car Club, and also competed in the old Motoring News Championship.
Darren Spann, Championship Co-Ordinator said: “We are delighted to have forged a partnership with Coronado Controls to support the Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship in association with MSVR. The support and help Coronado Controls are able to give the championship is great for the competitors, allowing us all to put much more back into the championship and enhance the experience for everyone!”
Darcy has been an ardent supporter of circuit rallying, and was a class-winning competitor of the original Motoring News Championship, before becoming a sponsor of the end-of-year Neil Howard Stages event at Cheshire’s most picturesque circuit; Oulton Park.
Darcy commented: “Coronado Controls is happy to be a part of the new Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship; the Motoring News Championship was once the most prestigious clubman’s motorsport rally championship in the UK. Personally, as a previous class winner it will bring back some good memories. To be art of this along with BLMCC and MSVR will be a privilege and a pleasure. I wish good luck to all competitors and participants: be safe, but be fast!”
David Willey, MSVR Motorsport Events Manager added: “I’ve been amazed at the overwhelmingly positive reaction to the creation of this new series and the addition of Coronado Controls Ltd as a partner is yet another plus for the series. MSVR is delighted to be involved and all signs are that we’re set for a fantastic debut season together.”
The inaugural MN Circuit Rally Championship will kick-off at Oulton Park with the Neil Howard Stages this November, before visiting circuits across the country, including all four MSV-owned venues, and concluding in mid-2016 with an awards ceremony at Oulton Park.
