The University of Bolton has extended an invitation to Bolton-Le-Moors Car Club to visit the university, take a tour around it’s Advanced Performance Engineering facilities and put on an open night for students in an attempt to showcase the benefits of taking part in organised motorsport around the UK.
Following discussions with the Director of Advanced Performance Engineering at the University of Bolton, it has been agreed that the club would visit the University, and put on an open night regarding the benefits of getting involved in local motorsport.
The event which will take place at Bolton University on Thursday 7th May will start at approximately 7:30pm. It will consist of a short presentation, regarding the club and the events the club puts on as well exploring the benefits of getting involved in local motorsport. A meet and greet with refreshments will then follow, before a short tour of the Advanced Performance Engineering facilities.
The club is encouraging all current club members to come on down and bring with them their competition cars. The cars will be parked outside the Advanced Performance Engineering workshops at the back of the main building. The club asks those who wish to take part in this to arrive from 6pm onwards.
Please note that due to this event the club night planned for this Thursday will be cancelled due to the presentation. The more club members who come down and show off their competition car/support for the club, the merrier. We hope to see you all there.
